Kumiko work is a traditional Japanese craft that combines pieces of wood without using nails to create patterns. The traditional Kumiko pattern of hemp leaves is placed inside a hexagonal or triangular shape made of Kiso cypress with stained glass wrapped around it. Using tokusa and natural wax, you will experience the careful finish of the wood craft. Please call us in advance of your visit.
